A IS FOR AMAZONIA RAW
“But where do you get your protein from?” Is one of the more common questions asked of vegans. For centuries mainstream culture has conditioned our learnings to synonymise protein with meat, but dig a little deeper and there’s plenty of other sources of protein available. One of our favourites at Little Hen is Amazonia Raw Protein.
This Raw Protein Isolate is the perfect way for Vegans to increase their protein intake. The Organic, raw, prebiotic, dairy-free formula is easily absorbed and completely natural, gaining protein from a range of amino acids, peas and brown rice. The gut-friendly powder is enhanced with live digestive enzymes and high levels of BCAA.
Completely free from artificial ingredients, and synthetic minerals and nutrients, this powder is bio-fermented and free from common allergens such as wheat and nuts. This supplement comes in delicious Cacao Coconut and Vanilla flavours.
B IS FOR BOTANICAL CUISINE
Botanical Cuisine products are handmade locally in Collingwood using certified organic raw vegan produce. With a thoughtful approach to fermented raw plant based food, they hand make deceptively simple, nutrient dense products in small batches. Staff Review: Botanical Cuisine Mushroom Truffle Cashew Cheese “Truffle is that ingredient which makes choosing from a menu really simple for me. The rule is; if it has truffle in it, order it. Most of the time I’m disappointed because they’ve skimped on the expensive delight and I can barely taste the truffle. This is NOT the case with Botanical Cuisine Mushroom Truffle Cheese. I’m not vegan, but man, I eat this on pretty much everything since I discovered it –instead of cheese in toasties, the cream in a mushroom sauce, as a dip with carrot sticks, hell I eat it from the spoon. I tell everyone about this product. Now I’m telling you… TRY IT!” –Georgia, Marketing Manager

D IS FOR DAMONA
When the local Melbourne founders of Damona set out to create a dairy free cheese brand, they had a number of boxes that had to be ticked in order for the product to live up to their own plant based satisfaction standards. The dairy-free cheeses that they produced had to be: • hand made by people that care and love what they’re doing; • come in a great range of flavours and styles;
• do well on a cheese board; • have all the right flavours; • taste a way that that everyone can enjoy them (even dairy cheese lovers); and finally, it had to be able to melt! Yep, that’s pretty much all the things that cheese should be, and trust us when we say that Damonda has succeeded in creating one hell of a vegan cheese range. Their range includes, Pepperjack, Mozzarella, Baked Almond Feta, Cheddar, Brie, Bocconcini and they even have a vegan Paté.
E IS FOR ECOTAN
With more beauty awards than you can poke a stick at, Ecotan is Australia’s first certified organic tanning product manufacturer. If you love a summer glow and hate cancer and animal cruelty, then this product is for you.

It is also high in fibre, magnesium, B vitamins, iron, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin E and various beneficial antioxidants.
